Robotic arm
Main page for the Robotic Arm project.
The goal of this project is building a simple, three degrees of freedom, robotic arm.
The first release will be controlled by potentiometers, the next generation by serial communication and the next one will have the cinematic model of the arm, so it will be possible to give it commands in X, Y and Z axis… Or at least that is the plan
- 1x Arduino diecimila.
- 3x Mystery Micro Servos SG90.
- Wires and prototyping board.
- 3x 10K ohm potentiometers.In the code section you will find some snippets of code that I am using (or have used at some point) in my robotic arm.
Code and schematics here should work fine, but hey, no warranties, electricity is such a complex thing, so be careful and don’t blame me or other contributors if something goes wrong and you set your toaster on fire
You are supposed not only to cut and paste this into your Arduino, but to understand it, change it to suit your needs, and if you feel like it, even sharing feedback with me and other readers of this site
